FRAMES

Are of 5 x 2 inch (125mm x 47mm) graded tanalith treated timbers.
Timbers are graded by trained graders to B.S. 4978-1996 standard.
Tanalith treated to 4.OK/M3.

The frames are screw joined using wax treated screws. Each frame is joined together on site using zinc coated coach bolts M10 diameter. The frames when fitted are secured to machined 4 x 4 inch (100mm x 100mm) treated solid wood legs of variable height, cut on site to suit ground irregularities, each covered in white PVC outer casing.

DECK SURFACE

Is of Polybois decking boards to the colour of your choice.
These boards carry a 25 year guarantee for both wear and colour fastness.
They are secured by “blind” screwing with treated decking screws.

FASCIA TO DECK

Is of Polybois decking board (to match or contrast with the deck top) It is 6 inches deep as standard.

L SHAPED TRIM

The join between the fascia and the decking board is covered by an L shaped PVC trim screwed to the skirting.

CorrectDeck

CorrectDeck is 60% wood, 40% plastic and 100% beautiful.

It is engineered to look better and last longer than other wood and composite decking products. CorrectDeck is crafted from Maine Hardwood sawdust and rugged, UV-stabilsed polypropylene.

That means you'll spend more time with family and friends and less time worrying about repairs and maintenance.

CorrectDeck is stiffer (25%), lighter (25%) and thinner than other composite decking, which makes it easier to handle and install.

No special tools are required, no special stains or treatments for protection, and no annual maintenance other than cleaning.

Unlike most composite decking products, CorrectDeck is available in standard decking sizes. It installs, cuts, drills and fastens with high quality decking screws just like wood. CorrectDeck goes on 16" centers and meets or exceeds building codes.

CorrectDeck is available in three popular colours: Grey, Cedar and Natural.

Depending on exposure, Natural will weather to a tan colour after two weeks and a light silver/grey after 12-16 weeks.

Cedar and Grey will also fade to attractive lighter colours over the same period. Some colour variation is intentional to simulate the subtle colour variations of wood.

The colour will even out as the deck weathers.
